This year Open Education Global (OEGlobal) is trying something different by having the conference focus on raising awareness of, and taking action on, the UNESCO OER Recommendation.
The conference has a five day online conference component running from Sept-27 through Oct-1, with each day focusing on a different action area of the Recommendation, and an in-person congress 5-7-Oct (pandemic permitting) in Nantes France.
A special aspect of this years conference is support for sessions in all six of the official UNESCO languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish). We see this as a significant step forward in embracing the diversity and inclusion aspects of open education.
The conference website is now live and the Call for Proposals for the online conference portion of the event is open.
