International students’ digital experiences in UK higher education are shaped by their home countries’ digital infrastructure and learning cultures, according to the latest report from Jisc’s study of the topic. A survey of over 2,000 international students saw just 35 per cent of respondents say they were comfortable turning their webcams on during online learning, and a little under half were happy joining in with small group discussions.
