Transforming Vocational Education and Training: Harnessing the Power of Digital Assessment

Sad to say the eAssessment in Vocational Education and Training project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by Pontydsgu has come to an end. As far as we know it was the last Erasmus _ research and development project in the UK, with the end of June marking the end of the UKs involvement in the programme.

The last piece of work undertaken in the project was to provide a Report and Policy Recommendations.

One area that has witnessed significant transformation is vocational education and training (VET), which plays a vital role in equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving job market. As we move further into the digital age, the use of digital assessment tools has emerged as a powerful strategy to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of VET programs.

By analysing existing research, examining best practices, and considering stakeholder perspectives, this report seeks to provide policymakers with actionable recommendations to effectively harness the power of digital assessment in VET settings.
