I don't really like the prediction stuff - it usually gets it wrong and all to frequently is based on what shiny new technology is exciting potential investors, rather than having any merit based in education and training. But I really like this presentation from  from Mark Brown, Professor and Director of the National Institute for Digital Learning at Dublin City University. He concludes by saying "The digital education ecosystems is simultaneously converging, getting larger in scale, more open and closed and is growing in diversity. Inherent trends, along with concerns about the growth, influence and sustainability of the Edtech industry, demonstrate how online learning is part of a wider social practice."
